Peter :

Strings on the Mountain free concerts

The Park was dedicated, in part, to the Enever's son Peter. His image has overlooked the pond in the Park since it opened, and is a perfect backdrop to any setting.

The piece was created and donated to the Park by Hill Blackett, Jr in 1998 .

The Turtle :

The turtle is one of the main pieces of art in the Park. It was created by Mary Zimmerman and donated to the Park by Ann Murtha. It is located at the edge of the pond near the Green.

Cherish :

Strings on the Mountain free concerts

Cherish stands between the large and small ponds. It was created by Anne Rooney and donated by Liz Branch.

The Swan :

Strings on the Mountain free concerts

The Trumpeter Swan flies low over the water in the pond and is sometimes missed because you have to look through the grass. It was created by John Simms and donated by the Steamboat Springs Arts Council.

The Frog :

Strings on the Mountain free concerts

The Frog is another favorite piece along the edge of the pond. It, like the Turtle, was created by Mary Zimmerman and donated by Sherm and Louise Poppen.

The Apollo Armillary Sundial :

The Apollo Armillary Sundial is in what is known as the Corner Gardens, next to Doris' garden. It was created by Outdoor Decor and donated by John Morrison.

Nammu :

Nammu, or the bear, is in the hidden garden. It was created by Sharon Spencer and donated by the George and Louise Thornton Charitable Trust.

Wings :

Strings on the Mountain free concerts

Wings, also known as the little boy with an airplane, stands on the edge of the Green and is a favorite of children who attend Music in the Park. He was created by Jim Price and donated by Denny and Joy Swanson.

Budda :

Strings on the Mountain free concerts

Budda sits in the Buddist Garden behind the reflecting pond. It was donated by the Buddist Community.

The Stag :

Stag was made by Richard M. Johnston and donated by Sherm and Louise Poppen.

Totem :

Strings on the Mountain free concerts

Harriet Lee created Totem, which was donated to the park by Peter and Rosemary Gebhardt. It sits in the Medicinal Herb Garden.

The Wind Wheel :

One of the early pieces of art in the Park was this wind wheel. It stands in the Waterwise garden and is one of the most easily noticed structures in the Park.It was made by Lyman Whitaker and donated by John and Mary Ann Duffey.

Fledged :

Fledged, by Hill Blackett, Jr was donated by the Jeckel Family and stands in the Members Rock Garden.

The Eagle :

This eagle stands on the hill near Trillium House. It was made by Jim Hanifen and donated by Yampatika.

The Wolf :

Wolf. Donated by her family in Lynne Wolfe's memory.

The Children's Garden :

The Children's garden has been part of the Botanic Park for many years.

Unity Through Diversity :

Strings on the Mountain free concerts

Unity Through Diversity stands in the Children's Garden. It was made by Karl E. Sussman and donated by Jim Engelken.

Mural :

Strings on the Mountain free concerts

The Mural has been on the old shed about as long as we have had the shed. It was created by Chula Walke.
